Fruit Trees
Fruit trees tend to be fairly short, maxing out at about 25’ at maturity. They require full sun (6 or more hours of direct sunlight) and moderate watering (avoid letting root ball dry out). They grow at a medium rate, ranging between 7 and 12 inches per year until maturity. We carry fruit trees that do well at elevations ranging between 7000’ and 9000’. Depending on the tree, some will require a pollinator whereas others are self-pollinating. However, keep in mind that for better yields, it is advantageous for self-pollinators to cross-pollinate.
