Coniferous Trees
Upright Juniper
Juniper trees, or upright Junipers as they are sometimes called, are a great way to add year-round color to your landscaping. Junipers vary in height and width, and some varieties are excellent choices if space is tight. The color can vary from a deep forest green to a soft, warm blue.
Pine & Fir
If you’d like something big and tall in your yard you might consider planting a pine or fir tree. These trees, like spruces, are often used as centerpieces in landscaping to help an area of the yard pop out. Fun fact: Bristlecone pines are the oldest trees in Colorado
Spruce
When Coloradans hear the phrase, “spruce tree,” they automatically think of the Colorado Blue Spruce, which is the official state tree of Colorado. But many other types of beautiful spruces will live and thrive at altitude, and Brady’s West carries them all.
